Sensei Bob Foster spent 28 years in the U.S. Army as an infantryman and has performed multiple combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan; he retired from the Army in 2021.

 

He began training Shin Shin Ryu in El Paso, TX under Sensei Sebastian Ramirez and began teaching in 2018, first in Florida and now in Hershey, PA.

 

Foster Sensei is a Fourth Dan in Shin Shin Ryu Iaijutsu and has also trained for several years in Aikido and Shotokan Karate among other western arts of personal combat along his journey.
